TEACHERS TEACHING-ON-CALL
The Sooke School District will be accepting all applications for Teachers Teaching-on-Call from May 1, 2012 to May 31, 2012 only. Please apply at www.makeafuture.com. No paper applications will be accepted. Please make sure that you choose one area: either Elementary/Middle School OR Middle/Secondary School. Please do not apply for both.
You must include:
- cover letter,
- resume,
- unofficial transcripts (official transcripts may be requested at a later date),
- teaching and practicum reports,
- teacher certificate from the Teacher Regulation Branch,
- proof of active practicing status with the Teacher Regulation Branch and
- three professional reference letters.
If you have just completed a practicum and have yet to receive your paperwork (Teacher Regulation Branch and Teacher Qualification Service), you may still apply and make note that these are pending. Please ensure that you convey all information in regard to any specialties in your cover letter. Any interviews will occur in July.
