Family and early Childhood Resource Network

“Children and families, the heart of our communities”

We are a group of community service providers from the Westshore and Sooke Communities that come together as a result of a shared vision to promote a better future for young children and their families.  We meet quarterly to network around existing programs and initiatives, share ideas, build community capacity and to identify sustainable ways to support existing programs and services.

Our resource network is comprised of representation from service providers such as Belmont Park Pre-school, The Cridge Centre For The Family, The Greater Victoria Public Library, Hulitan Family and Human Services Society, Military Family Resource Centre, School District 62, Sooke Family Resource Society, Your Literacy Connection Westshore, Vancouver Island Health Authority and West Shore Parks and Recreation.

An initiative of the FECRN is The Family & Early Childhood Resource Centre, which provides a child-friendly space available to non-profit service providers of early years programs.
