Bus Fee Update
New! Due to government funding, the SD62 Board of Education has decided that bus fees for all SD62 school bus riders will be eliminated this school year on a pilot basis.
Since bussing is now “free” can my child start taking the bus?
No. ALL riders must register. Bus routes for the 2016-17 school year are established and additional routes will not be added. New riders will be placed on a wait list until it is determined that there is a seat available on their designated bus.
Any student not on a driver list or without a pass may not be let on the bus.
I have already paid for the bus. When will I get my refund?
Our goal is to complete all refunds by October 31, 2016. You will receive your refund via the same method you paid. Please check your credit card or bank statements for refund confirmation.
Depending on when you paid your bus fees, you might receive multiple portions of your refund throughout October. This is because the payment system wasn’t designed to handle mass refunds. We apologize for the inconvenience, but you will receive a full refund in the end.
