I have the responsibility to attend school, be respectful in the classroomand not interfere with other students learning.

I have the responsibility to be kind, helpful and polite towards otherpeople and their property.

I have the right to follow instructions, ask for help politely, and complete
tasks to the best of my ability.

We expect all students to demonstrate S.T.A.R.S behaviour:

• To and from school
• During school
• At any school function

Responses to unacceptable conduct are consistent and fair. Our discipline focuses on restitution not punishment. Students are encouraged to participate in the development of meaningful consequences where appropriate.

The nature and frequency of unacceptable conduct influences our decision for disciplinary action.

Parents, School District staff and Community Agencies may be enlisted to help students develop greater social responsibility.
