The gym was packed with family and friends who came out to enjoy Journey's Concert Bands and Poirier's Grade 5 Uceleles. Thank you to all the musicians and mentors for their hard work. Thank you to Mrs Bjorklund for conducting the bands and ceremony.
Mrs Bjorklund would like to remind Band parents that the Sooke Academy of Music starts in January. Read all about it in the
Band News.

The Journey Band students are busking around Sooke to raise money for their band trip to Whistler. If you happen to enjoy their music while on your way in to do grocery shopping, throw them a couple coins in appreciation. They are really getting rather good and are so very festive.
