In 2010 Spencer launched a Grade 7 Band, which enrolled more than  60 students. This very successful program has resulted in two classes of Band 8/9. During the 2011/12 year we will continue to run a Grade 7 Band, which will take the place of the Exploratory.

Spencer is also the only school in British Columbia with Percussion classes. Percussion 8 and 9 are offered to those students who enjoy banging on anything, including the kitchen sink! Under the expert direction of Duey Wright, these classes truly do "beat it"!
