Pre-Advanced Placement is offered in Social Studies, Science, Mathematics,  English and French at the Grade 9 level. Pre-Advanced Placement leads into Advanced Placement in high school,which,  if completed successfully in Grade 12 gives the student a credit at the university level in that course.
