H.A.P.P.Y ( Home Alone Program Preparing Youth!)  Students will be offered this excellent program March 14th after school from 2:45 to 5:15 in the library.  Cost: $12.00. Participants must be 9 years and up. Registration forms are with the January newsletter on this site.
 
Just a reminder that the first bell rings at 8:40 and instruction begins at 8:45. Please have your children arrive on time. All students must report to the office if arriving after 8:45.                


Please remind your child to wear a coat as we are noticing a large number of students out at recess and lunch in the cold weather without one. Thank you.

Basketball season is here and students in grades 5/6 are invited to sign up. Practices are as follows: Boys Tuesdays and Wednesdays at lunchtime. Coach: Ms. Thompson    Girls: Tuesday and Thursday mornings at 8:00 am. Coach: Ms.Sandra

Attention Grade 6 Parents!  Registration for skills academies for September 2012 at Spencer and Dunsmuir is closing soon.  Contact Dunsmuir or Spencer Middle Schools for more information.

READY SET LEARN EVENT! 
Attention All Preschoolers and their Families!  SD62 invites you to come explore!

Drop by for snacks, songs, crafts and important information to make the transition into Kindergarten smooth and fun!  All events take place in the StrongStart rooms.  Bring your 3 & 4 year olds to come play and learn about getting ready for Kindergarten!

Also:  Open House Tours are happening at all SD62 elementary schools on Feb. 27 and 28, 9 a.m. - 2 p.m.

Willway will join thousands of other students across Canada in support of anti-bullying!
