Noon Hour Supervision Assistants are school district paid positions, whereby adults are hired to assist schools in supervising students. Qualified candidates must be a holder of a valid Standard First Aid Certificate or willing to get it at their earliest possible convenience. Everyone is welcome to the New Schools Update meeting on Tuesday, January 29th at 7:00 p.m. at the Isabelle Reader Theatre in Spencer Middle School, 1026 Goldstream Avenue. Please come and learn more about the design and educational programs for the two new high schools & Neighbourhood Learning Centres that will soon be part of our community.

Animal hats and mittens are for sale at Wishart until December 11th. There are 35 different hats available to be ordered - please check the samples in the trophy case outside the office. These hats are very cute and popular right now - buy one for your child or as a Christmas gift. Each hat is $25 and each pair of mittens is $25. Hat and mittens can be ordered separately. Orders MUST be received no later than December 11 for the order to arrive before school is out. Please make cheques payable to W.S.S.

This year's show - The Incredible Reindeer - will be held on Thursday, December 13 with shows at 1:00 and 6:30 p.m. Please have children back to their classrooms by 6:15 Thursday night. Hope to see you there!

All parents are invited to Meet the Teachers Night on Thursday, September 13th. Parents will go to their child's classroom at 6:30. At 7:00 p.m. everyone will move to the gym.

Students will be dismissed on Tuesday, September 4th at 11:15 a.m. Please DO NOT send your school supplies on Tuesday or Wednesday. Instead, send a few pencils, crayons or pencil crayons in a zip lock bag with your child's name on it. Remember to send a snack on Tuesday and a snack and lunch on Wednesday. If you have not yet arranged transportation on the school bus, call 250-474-9800.

School Supply Lists were sent home with students on June 11th and are available on the website - Registration > Supply Lists. If you choose to order pre-packaged supplies from Monk Office, the orders are due in the school office by Friday, June 15th. Please make cheques payable to Monk Office.
