Wishart is open today - usual hours. Dress warmly!

Tuesday - January 17th. School is open today, but school buses are not running. As the road conditions are deteriorating and a third of our students are absent parents are advised that if they wish to pick up their students at this time they are welcome to do so.  - Mr. McArthur

Registration for the 2012-13 school year takes place Monday, January 30th to Friday, February 3rd from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Please remember to bring your child's birth certificate or passport and proof of residence. See you then!

Please register by Monday, January 23rd for Fun Food Days in January, February and March.

Tomorrow's concerts are at 1:00 and 6:30 p.m. Please have the children arrive at the school between 6:00 and 6:15 p.m. for the evening show. If possible, consider walking to the school as parking will be at a premium. Remember that non-perishable items for the Westshore Food Bank will be welcomed at the door. It looks like being a great show!  When you come to the concert, please check the Lost & Found items that have been set out on tables near the Library. You may see some familiar clothing or footwear!

This year's Christmas Concert, Is Santa Smarter Than a 6th Grader?,  will have two performances on Thursday, December 8th. The afternoon show will begin at 1:00 p.m. and the evening show will start at 6:30 p.m. Tickets have been in great demand and we'd like to thank the families who returned tickets that were surplus to their needs. This allowed other families to obtain tickets - greatly appreciated! Remember the dress rehearsal will be held on Wednesday, December 7th at 1:00 p.m. Please note the change in time! Families are welcome to attend the dress rehearsal if they are unable to come on December 8th. No tickets are required for the rehearsal. I'm sure it will be a great show - hope to see you there!

Wishart will be preparing Christmas Hampers again this year, under the direction of the WestShore Christmas Fund. Watch for a notice coming home with your child with details for your class hamper. Thanks for your support!
