May 5, 2015 Dear parents/ guardians, We are writing you today to let you know of a change in fees that will impact all students who use District-‐provided transportation. Due to upcoming changes and increasing costs, bus fees for the 2015/2016 school year will increase by $25 to a total of $175 per student rider. Aside from the general rising costs of maintaining transportation equipment, the main reason for the fee increase is due to the relocation of the District’s transportation department to a new location on Amy Road. Families who have already prepaid for next year will need to submit the difference. As transportation fees are not confirmed until the annual budget is passed, we apologize for any inconvenience and confusion this have may caused. The increase was installed upon budget approval on Tuesday, April 28, 2015.   Bus fees for the 2015/2016 school year per family are as follows: Payment is due September 1, 2015 and can be made at the School Board Office by post

Other germs can also cause severe coughing. If you take your child to your doctor, please ask to have a special throat swab taken to check for the presence of the Pertussis germ. The special nasopharyngeal swab (not a regular throat swab) can be done by your family doctor.   If your child is diagnosed with Pertussis, antibiotic treatment
