Middle / Secondary Programs
Grades 8 - 9
JDFDL provides the opportunity for acceleration for grade 8 and 9 students wanting to take higher level core subjects: Math, English, Science, Social Studies, PE 10, Planning 10 and selected electives. Grade 8 and 9 students attending another school, wanting to be cross-enrolled in these upper level classes, must be approved by their school advisor and by WestShore Centre. Grade 8 and 9 courses are available on-line and paper-based for full time WestShore students. You can set your own schedule and work independently from home or come into the Storefront classroom for tutorials to complete your course requirements.
Grades 10 - 12
Students have the ability to take additional courses while still attending their regular high school classes or, students can complete their high school graduation. On-line and paper-based learning provides an option for students who are wanting to learn at a distance and are looking for a more flexible and independent learning environment.
