Summer Learning Opportunities
July/August 2013
There are three options available for students to take BC Ministry-Authorized Distributed Learning courses at WestShore Centre for Learning & Training through Summer 2013.
*Students returning to their current school in September 2013 must meet with their school counsellor to complete a Cross Enrolment Registration Form
*All students NOT returning to their current school or those that have completed graduation please make an appointment to meet with our academic advisor by calling 250-391-9002
Option 1:
Fast Track DL Summer Learning Application Deadline:July 4, 2013
Students enrolling in the Fast Track Distributed Learning summer sessions have the opportunity to attend face-to-face sessions with their teachers, as well as complete on-line paper-based assignments each day. Tutorial sessions run July 8 to August 8, Monday-Thursday. This is an excellent option for students who can work independently and are interested in finishing their courses quickly. Teachers will be available to assist you.

*Students are required to attend an orientation session prior to starting their online course.

Option 3:
Paper-based Courses Application Deadline: June 14, 2013
Students will be required to attend a COMPULSORY ORIENTATION session to receive the course outline and guidelines for course completion. Students should expect each orientation session to take approximately 1 hour.
