Winter Break officially begins on December 20. During this time, our schools, sites, and the district office will be closed to the public.
Please note that school staff and many departmental staff will be away and are encouraged to rest and recharge; as such, they are not expected to monitor or respond to email during the break.
Some staff members continue to work during this period, and we appreciate their efforts to keep our schools and district operational where services continue over the break.
If you have an extremely urgent matter, please email info@sd62.bc.ca. While this inbox will be monitored during the break, responses may be delayed.
Otherwise, we kindly ask that you hold non-urgent emails until staff return on January 5. The district office will reopen to the public at 8:30 a.m. on Monday, January 6, 2026, and classes will resume as scheduled.
