Here is the latest information our district has regarding tomorrow's planned strike by the BCTF.
Despite marathon bargaining over the weekend and late into the evening on Sunday night it appears that there are significant differences between the BCTF and BCPSEA regarding a settlement offer. Please see the link (add a link for attached document) for details regarding this. What this means is that there is a full scale strike on for tomorrow, Tuesday, June 17th.
Provincial exams are proceeding as scheduled. Please check the Ministry website
for schedules. Belmont has a slightly different schedule which has been emailed out to parents. Contact the school if you have any questions regarding scheduling of provincial exams.
For the convenience of parents and community members, here are the links to both the BCPSEA and BCTF websites in order to get the latest updates.
