All Sooke Arts & Crafts Bursary

Two bursaries of $250 are offered by the All Sooke Arts & Crafts Association. 

This bursary is not academic-based.  It is to encourage students in their creative endeavours, and ideally in fields not usually recognized as such e.g. woodwork, metal work, automotive, culinary skills, fibre arts (sewing , knitting, weaving), horticulture, as well as the more recognized forms of art like painting, photography, writing, digital art.

Criteria:
- evidence of creativity (see above)
- community-minded
- planning to pursue further education in the form of an apprenticeship, trade school, arts school, or college
