MAE Indigenous Education Fund

McCuaig & Associates Engineering (MAE) is a multi-disciplinary engineering consulting firm specializing in the assessment, renovation, and restoration of existing residential, commercial, and public buildings.  In an effort to decrease financial barriers and increase the participation of Indigenous students in post-secondary Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) fields, MAE has established an education fund of $1000 per year open to self-identifying Indigenous students studying full-time in a STEM field at any post-secondary school in Canada.

Braefoot Bursaries

This bursary is for students who have already started college/university in a program related to LAW or EDUCATION.  Make a note of this and apply in September of your first year of post-secondary.  The application deadline is actually in October or November FOLLOWING YOUR GRADUATION. 

Rick & Amanda Hansen Scholarship for Youth with Disabilities

Rick and Amanda Hansen believe that people of all abilities should have the right to a barrier-free education. The Rick & Amanda Hansen Scholarship for Youth with Disabilities, funded generously by the April 1 Foundation, provides financial support to Canadian youth with disabilities to pursue post-secondary education and realize their full potential.

This scholarship aims to make a profound impact on the lives of Canadian youth with disabilities by removing financial barriers and supporting career aspirations through post-secondary education.

TELUS Student Bursary

About the Bursary

The TELUS Student Bursary provides financial assistance to deserving young people across the country who are committed to giving back in their local communities by taking on a social impact project. 

Recipients receive a bursary valued at $3,000 (college) or $5,000 (university) to put toward tuition fees at post-secondary institutions in Canada.
