The Sooke School District, serving approximately 10,600 students, is located on Southern Vancouver Island adjacent to British Columbia’s Capital City of Victoria. Communities of the school district include Sooke, Port Renfrew, the Highlands, Metchosin, Colwood and Langford.
Sooke School District acknowledges the traditional territories of the Coast Salish: T’Sou-ke Nation and Scia’new Nation and Nuu-chah-nulth: Pacheedaht Nation. We also recognize that some of our schools reside on the traditional territory of the Esquimalt Nation and Songhees Nation.

Congratulations to our own Royal Bay Boys Lacrosse Team! The team went undefeated, finally taking the top spot in the finals of a high-level tournament held in Denver, Colorado last weekend. With many college/university scouts in the crowd, the team played their best, defeating some great teams. Bright futures ahead!
