The Sooke School District, serving approximately 10,600 students, is located on Southern Vancouver Island adjacent to British Columbia’s Capital City of Victoria. Communities of the school district include Sooke, Port Renfrew, the Highlands, Metchosin, Colwood and Langford.
Sooke School District acknowledges the traditional territories of the Coast Salish: T’Sou-ke Nation and Scia’new Nation and Nuu-chah-nulth: Pacheedaht Nation. We also recognize that some of our schools reside on the traditional territory of the Esquimalt Nation and Songhees Nation.

At about 11:30 am yesterday Edward Milne Community School entered into a Hold and Secure. Thanks to Premier John Horgan and Education Minister Rob Fleming who visited Savory Elementary School today to officially open it’s new playground.
