Community Use of District Facilities and Fields
The Sooke School District supports the use of schools by non-profit, community and commercial groups provided it does not impact the delivery of Kindergarten to Grade 12 programs. Schools and other district programs have first priority in the use of all facilities.
Rental rates for all school facilities and grounds are established by the district and includes full cost-recovery of long and short term capital and operating costs.

- November 10, 2023: All groups using district facilities or fields must provide proof of comprehensive general liability insurance with a limit of not less than $5 million, inclusive per occurrence, for bodily injury and property damage including loss of use thereof. Such insurance shall name SD62 (SOOKE) as an additional insured.
