In 2007, after a new student at their school was bullied for wearing a pink shirt, two grade 12 students in Berwick, Nova Scotia bought 50 pink shirts and encouraged their classmates to wear pink. To their surprise, almost all students showed up wearing pink to spread kindness.
Wearing pink reminds us that kindness counts, bullying is never okay and that we can do so much more when we lift each other up.
Please join us in wearing pink on Wednesday, February 28.
