Rotary Club of Sooke - Faith Jacobson Vocational Scholarship

Selection Criteria:

1)  This scholarship is for students entering a vocational program at a recognized college, university, trade, or technical institute.  A “vocational” program is an educational program directed at a specific occupation. examples: nursing, professional cook, social work, hair stylist, web design, interior deign, medical office assistant, video game design, ...

Awarded in two portions: The first $1000 will be awarded to the selected recipient following graduation and provision of proof of acceptance at a recognized post-secondary school  AND registration in courses.  The second $1000 will be presented after successful completion of first year and proof of enrollment in second year studies. The program must be at least 2 years in length.
