One scholarship is for a student entering trades training. One scholarship is for a student any post-secondary program. Additional criteria: These scholarships will be awarded to students who are promising young citizens who are community-oriented, with a record of volunteer work. The Sooke Community Association wishes that financial assistance be offered to as many students as possible, so preference may be given to students not receiving other scholarships.
