The 2026–27 school year calendar has been released. The calendar includes statutory holidays, which are days when schools are closed in accordance with provincial legislation; professional development days, designated for staff learning with no classes for students; and early dismissal days. The calendar aligns with provincial legislation and collective agreements, and we work closely with neighbouring districts to ensure alignment as much as possible.
First day of school: Tuesday, September 8, 2026
Winter Break: Saturday, December 19, 2026, to Sunday, January 3, 2027. School resumes Monday, January 4, 2027.
Spring Break: Saturday, March 13, to Tuesday, March 30, 2027. School resumes Wednesday, March 31, 2027.
