Royal Bay Secondary Student Awarded Prestigious Scholarship

Royal Bay Secondary School graduate Avery Fagan has been awarded a $50,000 post-secondary scholarship from The Cmolik Foundation in recognition of her remarkable achievements in overcoming adversity and excelling in her studies.

The Foundation’s Selection Committee was deeply impressed by Avery’s application, academic goals, and future career aspirations. This prestigious award not only honours her hard work and dedication, but also provides significant financial support as she pursues her dream of earning a degree in psychology.

One of Avery’s teachers, Bruce McElroy, shared his admiration for her accomplishments:

“Avery has excelled academically, taking college-level courses that are available at the school. Avery's perseverance and hard work are evident in her ability to excel both in and out of the classroom.”

This September, Avery will begin her studies in psychology at the University of Victoria, taking the next step toward her goal of making a difference in the lives of others.
