Today marks the date set by Government of British Columbia for public sector organizations to establish an accessibility working group, an accessibility plan and build a tool to receive feedback, under its Accessible British Columbia Act.
A 7-member advisory working group has also been created from different members of the Sooke School District community. The group is comprised of individuals who can bring lived experience, knowledge and skills to guide our accessibility work.
Through the actions of our Accessibility Plan and advisory group, we commit to continuous improvements developing an environment that supports all individuals in our learning community.
