School Trustees were sworn into the Sooke School District Board of Education at the public board meeting on November 1.
Returning Trustees Ravi Parmar and Allison Watson are joined by new Trustees Cendra Beaton, Russ Chipps, Amanda Dowhy, Ebony Logins and Trudy Spiller.
The Board of Education also held elections for the following positions, and all were declared elected by acclamation:
Board Chair - Ravi Parmar
Vice Chair - Amanda Dowhy
British Columbia School Trustee Association (BCSTA) Rep - Allison Watson
BCSTA Alternate Rep - Ebony Logins
BC Public School Employers' Association (BCPSEA) Rep - Cendra Beaton
BCPSEA Alternate Rep - Trudy Spiller
