It is exciting to see the construction starting on our 20th elementary school. The school is anticipated to open in September 2025.
The public consultation period for the naming of the new school took place from January to February earlier this year. We are currently in consultation with First Nation partners and honouring the thoughtful approach taken to gather and put forward a name suggestion.
We are hopeful to present information to the Board of Education in late June with a name announcement to follow in the summer.
