Kathy Kirk Memorial Scholarship

The Kathy Kirk Memorial scholarship is awarded to one deserving student from Edward Milne Community School who has demonstrated that they wish to continue their studies of music.  

The amount of the award may vary from year to year.   It is the intent of the scholarship committee that the scholarship will be paid annually in the amount of $250, but may vary from year to year, depending on interest accrual.  

In the event that no one meets these qualifications this scholarship will not be given out, and funds held for successive years.  

Students must maintain a “B” average in grade 11 and 12 final course marks required for graduation, submit a resume and provide two references, one from their community and one from their school.

Following proof of enrollment/registration and payment of fees the money will be paid directly to the recipient with the understanding that the funds must be accessed within 24 months of the offer.
