A scholarship of $5,000 will be awarded annually to a youth who has overcome adversity related to mental health and is pursuing health-related post-secondary studies. The successful recipient will be notified in September.
Eligibility Criteria:
1) Currently between the ages of 17 and 25 years old
2) Canadian citizen or Canadian permanent resident
3) Enrolled in full-time studies at a recognized post-secondary educational institution based in Canada (university or community college)
4) Pursuing a health-related field of study (e.g., medical school, nursing, psychology, kinesiology,
physiotherapy, nutrition, paramedicine, chiropractic care, public health, health research, etc.)
5) Plans to pursue a career in your health-related field of studies
6) Living with a mental health challenge of their own or that of a family member
