PEO is an organization focused on the education and support of women. They are offering a $2500 scholarship to a current female who plans to go on to post-secondary school.
Selection criteria:
1) leadership
2) extra curricular activities
3) community service
4) academics
This award requires nomination by a local PEO Chapter. There is very intense competition for this scholarship. Only students with an incredibly strong record of volunteer work and school/community involvement will be considered. PEO Chapters must submit their recommendations by October 15, so make contact asap in September of your Gr. 12 year.
