There are 55 BC Excellence Scholarships available to recognize well-rounded BC graduates.
Winners will have demonstrated community service, both inside and outside schools, and shown aptitude and commitment to their chosen career path or area of post-secondary study. They will receive a $5000 scholarship voucher to use for post-secondary tuition.
Students must be nominated by their school. If nominated, the student must submit an application to the Ministry of Education for adjudication by the selection committee.

Students interested in nomination will need to submit the following to Mr. Phipps (by email) by Jan. 29, 2024:
1. PDF of your Scholarship Resume that follows the format outlined on the website below.
2. PDF of Written Statement (Use the template provide on the website below.)
3. PDF of two letters of reference specifically for this scholarship. See the guidelines for reference letters at the website listed below.
As you work on your resume and written statement, refer to the marking guidelines as provided on the website below.
The student who is nominated will then need to submit an application package by early to mid-February. (confirm exact date and time on the website below)
