About Jaymie-Lynn Robertson:

Jaymie-Lynn Robertson, a vibrant young woman who cherished life passionately, left us too soon at the age of 23 due to SUDEP (Sudden Unexpected Death in Epilepsy). Despite being diagnosed with epilepsy at 20, Jaymie-Lynn refused to let it hinder her love for working with children and animals. Her resilience continues to inspire all who knew her.

Eligibility Criteria:

§  Be between 17-19 years of age

§  Be entering college or university studies in a BC post-secondary institution

§  Be a Canadian citizen

Application Requirements:

§  Demonstrate financial need

§  Submit a 300-word essay on how epilepsy has impacted your life

We encourage eligible students to apply for this bursary, which honors Jaymie-Lynn's spirit and aims to support those whose lives have been affected by epilepsy. The award is not solely based on academic achievements but also takes into account financial need and a personal essay.
