• Implementing the BC Early Learning Framework to support a holistic approach to early childhood education.
• Participating in the Provincial Fee Reduction Initiative to reduce the cost of child care for families.

The following childcare programs will be operated and staffed by Sooke School District at the following sites: 

Expression of Interest to be on the wait list for 2026/27 Board-Operated Childcare

The expression of interest opportunity is only open to students who will be in kindergarten to Grade 3 in the 2026/27 school year.  Your child must be enrolled in the school to be eligible. 

The form link below will be open from May 1 at 8 am to May 15, 2026, at 3 pm. 

This is only an expression of interest to be on a wait list and not a guarantee of a space in the program.  The wait list will be organized by rank order according to a lottery process.
