Cst. Sarah Beckett Memorial Scholarship

The $2,000 Constable Sarah Beckett Memorial Scholarship is open for applications until June 27, 2025. This scholarship is available to post-secondary students who live in the capital region and have demonstrated academic achievement, financial need, community service and an expressed interest in pursuing a career in law enforcement.

This scholarship is offered by the Traffic Safety Commission (TSC) of the Capital Regional District in memory of Constable Sarah Beckett, who tragically lost her life in an automobile crash in 2016. The CRD TSC established this scholarship to support those committed to enhancing community safety. The scholarship is for students of all ages, from those just starting their educational journey to adult learners transitioning careers. The TSC encourages all eligible students to apply and continue Constable Beckett’s legacy of caring for community safety.
