We would like to congratulate Emma Preece, a grade 11 student from Royal Bay Secondary School on her acceptance to STEAM programming with Shad Canada.
Shad offers a transformational summer program that equips high school students with the skills, mindset, and confidence to lead in a rapidly changing world. Through immersive, hands-on experiences, students engage with real-world challenges in areas such as artificial intelligence, energy, and food security.
Combining STEAM-based learning with a focus on resilience, creativity, and entrepreneurship, Shad empowers young people to think boldly, take risks, and turn their ideas into action.
Emma will spend one month at a Canadian post-secondary institution participating in programming focused on STEAM, entrepreneurship, and career exploration. Through this experience, she will develop new skills, broaden her perspectives, and connect with like-minded students from across Canada.
Congratulations Emma!
