As we work together to keep our school communities safe and welcoming, we would like to remind students and families of our expectations for bicycles, scooters, skateboards, and other wheeled devices on school property.
Riders must dismount upon entering school property at all of our schools. Bicycles, skateboards, scooters, one-wheels, hoverboards, and other wheeled devices must be walked or carried while on school grounds. Mobility devices used for accessibility purposes are exempt from this requirement.
Please note that schools do not have jurisdiction over conduct on public roads, sidewalks, or pathways. We encourage all students to travel safely, be mindful of others, and follow applicable traffic laws. Concerns about unsafe or unlawful behaviour occurring off school property should be directed to the appropriate local authority.
