Picking Up Student Belongings from Schools

Date

Hi families,

We hope this note finds you getting more comfortable with our new reality.

Most of you will have had some contact from your schools last week and are likely looking forward to getting back into some sort of a routine.

We know that many students have items at their schools that they would like to access. At this time, we are still limiting pick up of belongings to those that are considered essential. Some examples include medication or medical devices (epi-pens, asthma inhalers etc), vision or dental devices (prescription glasses, retainers) or personal learning devices.

If you haven’t already approached your school’s principal, we ask you to email them with your request. They will work with you to set up a time to safely retrieve the item.

Non-essential items left in lockers, desks and classrooms will not be available for collection until next month (May). This will allow us the month of April to focus on continuity of learning.

If your special circumstances require you to collect something deemed non-essential, please connect with your school principal for discussion.

If you have any questions, you guessed it!, please contact your school principal. Thank you so much for your continued patience. We are all in this together.
