Parent/Students FAQs

Visit our Registration webpage to register your child for school. Registration is done online. 

School catchment areas are determined by your home address.  Please go to the School Locator page to find out which school your child should attend. 

Parents wanting to register their child for a school other than their in-catchment school must submit a School Change Request. 

Fill out our online Registration Application and submit whatever documentation you have and contact the school to discuss next steps. The school administration team will be able to provide you with further instructions.

Contact your school administrative team to request a password rest for MyEdBC. During summer periods email info@sd62.bc.ca and one of our staff will request a reset thru the District IT department.

The MyEdBC Parent Portal support is provided at the school level. Please contact your child's school administration team for assistance.

Current students can order transcripts or certificated from Order Transcripts - Province of BC. We are unable to order transcripts on your behalf.

The Ministry of Education transcripts and dogwoods will arrive at the School District Office in August and be sent to the school where the student graduated. The schools will then forward documentation to graduating students.

It is important to follow the steps EXACTLY as shown.  Make sure you are using the correct email that is linked to your child at school and you are using the 9 digit Personal Education Number (PEN) - NOT the student number.  Remember to fill out the online consent forms.

Former students can order transcripts or certificates from Order transcripts and certificates - Province of BC.  The Ministry of Education Transcripts and Dogwoods will be sent to the SD62 Board Office and then forwarded to you.
