The BCAHA Tribute Bursary Fund exists to assist in the education of deserving youth or adult students enrolled in post-secondary education, at a recognized British Columbia institution, in a human healthcare field. Four $1,000 bursaries will be awarded in any healthcare related program. Check their website for REQUIREMENTS (including the application deadline) and APPLICATION FORM.

Application form for the current year will be available at the link below a couple months before the application deadline.  

BC Transplant will award four $1500 scholarships to grade 10-12 students who lead an organ donation awareness project in their school or community during the 2023/24 school year.

This award is for students planning to attend UVIC or Vancouver Island University for their fist year of post-secondary studies

Selection criteria:
1)  This award is for a student who has shown consistent effort and is pursuing further education in science. 
2)  Top marks in math and science are key criteria. 

This bursary is not a scholarship for high academic achievement. It is a character award that aims to recognize the students in our community who have overcome various adversities, including mental health, physical disability, discrimination, financial hardship, or family issues. Despite these challenges, these students have demonstrated kindness, determination, and courage to graduate high school and continue their education through post-secondary institutions, trade schools, online courses, or the military.
