BC Retired Principals’ and Vice-Principals’ Association Bursary

The British Columbia Retired Principals’ and Vice-Principals’ Association (BCRPVPA) will be awarding several bursaries/scholarships, in the amount of $1000 each, to students who graduate from the BC public school system and who are continuing their education at an accredited post-secondary institution in British Columbia. (Students planning a “gap year” should apply in the year in which they enroll in a post-secondary program.)

The BC Principals’ and Vice-Principals’ Association annually awards up to 20 scholarships, in the amount of $1000 each, to students who are graduating from the BC public school system and will proceed to a post-secondary institution. 

All applicants will be assessed on academic excellence and demonstrated leadership within the school and community.

BC Electrical Association Scholarships & Bursaries

The BC Electrical Association offers both scholarships and bursaries.  

Some scholarships/bursaries are for dependents of BCEA member companies.  

Some scholarships/bursaries are open to any students pursuing post-secondary studies in: Electrical (including apprentices), Marketing, Electrical Engineering, Business

BC Achievement Scholarships

BC Achievement Scholarships recognize the top 8000 graduates in the province. The Ministry of Education will determine recipients based on achievement in Grades 10, 11, and 12 courses that satisfy Graduation Program requirements, including elective courses. 

A cumulative average percentage will be calculated and form the basis for determining winners, who receive a $1250 scholarship voucher to use towards their post-secondary tuition.

Automotive Retailers Foundation Bursaries & Scholarships

Deadline: usually June 15 each year, but students should check the website below to confirm.

Both scholarships and bursaries are available.  

All students enrolled in an automotive related program are encouraged to apply.    

Students must be starting for full time studies for the upcoming academic year.

Association of School Transportation Services of BC Commercial Heavy-Duty Mechanic Scholarship

The Association of School Transportation Services of BC will award a scholarship to eligible student(s) attending an educational facility in the province of BC for the express purpose of attaining certification as a Commercial Heavy Duty Mechanic.  The Association will sponsor a maximum of 4 students at any one time.
Each successful applicant may receive up to a maximum of $7,000 over the 4 years.  The scholarship will be awarded upon proof of each year’s registration as follows:
First Year: $1000, Second Year: $1500, Third Year: $2000, Fourth Year: $2500
