Contractors must have a scheduled time if they wish to enter schools or sites. To schedule a visit, please contact the school or site directly.

Planning a visit?

Once you have scheduled a time with the school or site, you must do the following before entering the site:

  1. Contractors must assess themselves daily to ensure they are not experiencing symptoms of illness before coming to school or site to prevent spread of communicable diseases.
    • If you are unsure or concerned about your symptoms, connect with your health care provider or call 8-1-1 (BC CDC, Public Health Communicable Disease Guidance for K-12 Schools, Sept. 13, 2023).
  2. Wash or sanitize hands as soon as you enter and when exiting.
  3. Maintain as much distance between persons as possible during visit.
  4. Review Health and Safety Handbook Agreement for Contractors (Sept 18, 2023)
  5. Complete sign in here.
  6. Wash or sanitize hands as soon as you enter and when exiting.
  7. Try to physically distance during meetings.

  • Avoid touching face (specifically eyes, nose and mouth).
  • Follow respiratory etiquette: Cover your mouth and nose during coughing or sneezing with a tissue or a flexed elbow and dispose of used tissues in a plastic-lined waste container. Wash hands.
  • Do not enter a SD62 school or building if you are sick.
