Happy Principals, Vice Principals and District Principals' Month!

Date

Each October, we recognize principals, vice principals and district principals who lead our schools and district programs. Each of our schools and programs are unique and special, because of the leaders and who set the vision and tone for their staff, students and families.

Often one of the first people in the school or office in the morning and one of the last to leave in the evening, the dedication of principals, vice principals and district principals (PVP and district principal) is outstanding! From the care they put into making their school a hub of the community, to the creation of inclusive programs and opportunities across our district, right down to the open doors they have for staff to chat, SD62 PVP and district principals are both incredible multi-taskers and compassionate leaders.

Passionate, committed, enduring – these are a few  traits PVP and district principals display every day. They put the staff and the students of our district first and we cannot thank them enough for helping to represent fantastic leadership in SD62. On behalf of the entire school district, community and Board of Education, we send a big THANK YOU to PVP and district principals for their tireless efforts in pursuit of excellence in education. Happy National Principals’ Month!

Sincerely,

Scott Stinson, Superintendent on behalf of the SD62 staff
