Michael Potter / Rotary Club of Victoria-Harbourside Bursary

This bursary is renewable for 4 years.  The amount varies but is expected to be around $1200 to 2000 per year.  

Each high school involved will nominate one Grade 12 student who has overcome significant hurdles or hardships in order to attend college or university.  Such hurdles or hardships may include financial difficulties, lack of family support, lack of role models, or emotional troubles. 

ONE STUDENT IS NOMINATED BY STAFF.  The selected EMCS student will then complete an application form and participate in an interview with the Harbourside Rotary Club.  The nominated student will be provided with an application form.  Belmont and Spectrum schools will also be nominating students.  Only one of the 3 nominated students will receive the bursary. 

Please contact your counsellor by the first Monday in April if you wish to be considered for nomination. The school must select our nominee by the end of April.
