We are pleased to offer a wide range of academy programs at the middle and secondary school levels. These choice programs are either hosted at schools during the regular school day or offered by the District Academies Team outside the regular school day. We encourage families to review the academy offerings below and determine whether any of these exciting opportunities are well suited to their child and family.

Partnership Academies
Registration for the 2026 - 2027 School Year
In addition to the grade-level student codes of conduct, academy students are expected to understand and adhere to their roles and responsibilities. Registration and acceptance into an academy program imply that students and families have reviewed and agree to the guidelines and expectations regarding registration, fee structure and payment, student-athlete roles and responsibilities, and the withdrawal process.
Registrations will be accepted until an academy reaches capacity, on a first-come, first-served basis. Please be aware that some academies have specific entrance requirements (Dunsmuir Dance Academy, Royal Bay Dance Academy, and Royal Bay Golf Academy).
Note:
- Academy registration opens at 8:00 AM on Wednesday 25 February 2026 and remains open until an academy reaches capacity.
- Prior to registering for an academy program, students and families must read the information contained on the Academy Participation: Roles & Responsibilities page.
- When registering for an academy program, do not complete a school change request form. If you are accepted, this step is already included as part of the academy application process.
- Updated academy program fees will be posted on Wednesday 25 February 2026 and will detail increases to the Fee Structure, Deposit and Payment Plan Options.
- Deposits are non-refundable.
- Families must be certain about their participation in an academy program and understand that fees are used to secure among other things, rental agreements, coaching contracts and transportation costs, which are non-negotiable, fixed costs.
- A withdrawal from an academy in September or at a later date in the year, does not imply a refund will be issued.
- By submitting a registration, students and families agree to both the Academy Participation: Roles & Responsibilities page as well as the items contained on this Academies page.
