Strategies:

1. Using the following FPPOL as our North Star to weave into our practice and culture.
   • Learning is holistic, reflexive, reflective, experiential, and relational (focused on connectedness, on reciprocal relationships, and a sense of place).
   • Learning requires exploration of one‘s identity
2. Focus on place based experiential learning and mindfulness.
   • Nature Learning kits/Inquiry (providing learning backpacks to sign out to take with classrooms for mindfulness and nature-based learning)
   • Continue to bring the Coast Salish Moons to the office for teachers to grab and go
   • Continue to bring the FPPOL into classrooms using library resources and activities with connections
   • Add an amphitheatre (in the works) for outdoor learning opportunities
   • Skin colour paints, crayons, Plasticine (ordered, will continue)
   • Transition time for Inclusion kids (after recess) with Indigenous Ed focus
   • Weekly drumming circle in library for mindfulness to help regulate (embedding FPPOL into Inclusion) – include the NCPA in this practice
   • Territorial acknowledgement on Wednesday announcements + at assemblies + use welcome in Sencoten at events
3. Foster community (connections) and increase opportunities for collaborative learning. (Strengthen sense of belonging)
   • Encourage staff to engage with Elders/Knowledge keepers
   • Work with the PAC to increase knowledge of our North Star
