Emergency Information

This page includes important information about emergency preparedness at the Sooke School District. Emergencies are typically anything that disrupts normal school operations such as fire, threats to the school, violent incidents, school bus accidents, severe weather, earthquake, hazardous spills, pandemics, abduction and incidents on field trips.

Resources:

At the start of every school year, students are sent home with a paper copy of the Student Emergency Release Form. It will also be sent home with new students when they arrive at school. It is critical to fill out this form with accurate information and return the physical copy to the school. We keep physical copies in case of emergency.

It is your responsibility to keep the information on these forms current. If you believe your current form is outdated, please download a new copy and bring it to the school or visit the school and fill out a new one
