West Shore Community Response Network Award

One award of $500 will be made available to an applicant who demonstrates leadership in the community.  Priority will be given to applicants who have contributed to supporting seniors or seniors’ organizations in the community

A second award of $500 will be made available to a T’Souke Nation, Scia’new Nation (Beecher Bay) or Pacheedaht Nation student who demonstrates leadership in the community.  Priority will be given to applicants who have contributed to supporting seniors or seniors’ organizations in the community.

Criteria:

• Attending high school full-time and graduating in the current school year.
• Intending to pursue a career that supports the elderly and/or the aging process.
• Able to demonstrate a strong interest in education and learning.
• Able to demonstrate leadership in the community.  Applicants who have contributed to supporting seniors or seniors' organizations in the community will be prioritized.
